Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 24 October 2026

These terms apply to every stream, wallet top-up and affiliate terminal from LifeTech Streams (formerly Lethal Streamz), "we" or "us". When you buy or renew a stream, wear the LifeTech HUD, rez a LifeTech terminal or use our panels, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

We rent SHOUTcast and Icecast audio streams for use in Second Life. Each package has a set bitrate, listener limit and, on AutoDJ packages, music storage, as shown on the terminal at the time you buy. You get a stream server, port and login details, a Media Panel login for the stream itself, and a Billing Panel login for renewals, your wallet and auto-renew.

LifeTech Streams is not affiliated with or endorsed by Linden Research, Inc. You must also follow the Second Life Terms of Service.

2. Live streams are personal

A live (non-AutoDJ) stream is for the person who bought it, and it may not be shared.

If we find a live stream being shared, we may ask you to move to an AutoDJ package, or suspend the stream (see section 6).

3. Club streams need an AutoDJ package

If a stream is used as a club or venue stream, where several DJs broadcast through it, it must be an AutoDJ package.

AutoDJ streams are built for this: the owner can set up multiple DJ accounts so each DJ streams with their own login, and AutoDJ plays your music whenever no DJ is live. The club or venue owner who buys the AutoDJ stream is responsible for the DJs they give access to.

Not sure which package you need? Choose AutoDJ for a club with a DJ line-up, and a live package for your own sets.

4. Payments, renewals and prices

5. Expiry, suspension and removal

We send reminders by IM before a stream expires, but renewing on time is your responsibility. When a stream expires, it is suspended. If you renew within the grace period, it comes back with the same port and settings. If it isn't renewed within the grace period, the stream is deleted, together with its settings and any music uploaded to AutoDJ. Keep your own copies of your music.

6. Acceptable use

If you break these terms, for example by sharing a live stream, we may warn you, change your package, suspend the stream, or end the service without a refund. For serious or repeated breaches, we may also close your account.

7. Affiliate terminals

8. Availability and liability

We work to keep streams online around the clock, but we can't promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, network problems, Second Life outages and events outside our control can cause downtime. The service is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the L$ you paid us for the affected stream in the last billing period. We are not liable for lost events, listeners or income.

9. Changes and contact

We may update these terms, and the date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. If you keep using the service after a change, you accept the new terms. For questions, visit our main store in Goa or log in to the panel.
