Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 October 2026
This policy explains what LifeTech Streams (formerly Lethal Streamz) collects when you use our streams, terminals, HUD, panels and this website, and what we do with it. We collect only what we need to run the service, and we don't sell your data.
What we collect
- Your Second Life identity: your avatar name and avatar key (UUID), from the terminal, HUD or bot you use.
- Your account: your panel username and password. The password is stored hashed, never in plain text. We also keep your panel settings, such as auto-renew.
- Purchases and wallet: what you bought or renewed, the L$ amounts, dates, which terminal or HUD you used, your wallet balance and top-ups, and refunds. For affiliates: the terminals you own and where they are rezzed (region and position), and your sales and commission.
- Your streams: server, port, package, expiry, the music you upload to AutoDJ, and stream statistics such as listener counts and now-playing.
- Technical data: our servers log IP addresses, browser details and requests, for security and troubleshooting. The streaming server also sees the IP address of each listener, as any SHOUTcast or Icecast server does.
We don't receive or store any real-money payment details. All payments are in L$ inside Second Life.
Why we use it
- To create, renew and run your streams, and to give you your login details.
- To send you service messages by IM and notecard: stream details, renewal reminders, receipts and password reset codes.
- To process payments, refunds, auto-renewals and affiliate commission, and to keep accurate records.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse (for example, sharing a live stream), and fix problems.
Who else handles it
- Linden Research (Second Life): in-world payments, IMs and notecards go through Second Life, under Linden's own privacy policy.
- LifeBots: our in-world messaging bot service, which delivers IMs and notecards on our behalf.
- Hosting: our servers are rented from a data-centre provider in the United States. Cloudflare provides DNS for our domains.
We don't share your data with anyone else, unless the law requires it or it's needed to protect the service or other users.
Cookies
This website uses no cookies and no tracking or analytics. The Billing Panel stores a login token in your browser so you stay signed in, and removes it when you log out.
How long we keep it
We keep account and purchase records while you're a customer, and afterwards as long as we need them for accounting, disputes and abuse prevention. When a stream is removed after its grace period, its music and stream settings are deleted. Server logs are kept for a limited time.
Your choices
You can see and change your account details in the Billing Panel. To ask what we hold about you, or to ask us to correct or delete it, contact us as described below. We may need to keep some records, such as purchase history, where the law or legitimate business needs require it.
Children
Our service is for Second Life residents, who must meet Second Life's age requirements. We don't knowingly collect data from children.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy, and the date at the top shows when it last changed. For privacy questions, visit our main store in Goa or log in to the panel.
